Mike Wakefield

Mike discovered yoga in 2016 while rehabbing a stress fracture from running and quickly realized it offered far more than physical recovery. What began as a healing tool evolved into a profound personal practice, eventually inspiring him to pursue teaching. Since completing his 200-hour training, he has continued to expand his skillset with certifications in breathwork, meditation, Reiki, and trauma-sensitive yoga. He is also currently training with the Prison Yoga Project to help bring the benefits of yoga to incarcerated communities.

Grounded in the belief that yoga is truly for everyone, Mike creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for students to meet themselves exactly where they are. His classes are rooted in the breath, playfully challenging, and designed to spark curiosity, inner awareness, and growth.
